Fastest 3000 runs in T20 International

Babar Azam completes his fastest 3000 runs in T20 International and becomes the only 5^th men’s player and 8^th overall to achieve the milestone in the format and also joined the fastest 3000 runs alongside Indian veteran batter Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli was also the first batsman to complete 3000 runs in t20Is. Indian Ex-captain Virat Kohli on 14 March 2021 in the 2^nd match of 5 matches series against England at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad become the first batsman in the history of t20Is cricket to score 3000 runs in his career. Martin Guptill of New Zealand becomes the second batsman, Rohit Sharma of India becomes the third batsman, Paul Stirling of Ireland becomes the 4^th batsman and now Babar Azam Captain of Pakistan joins the list on Friday, 30 Sep 2022 to achieve the 3000 runs milestone in his career.

The Skipper became the first Pakistani batsman to score 3000 runs in t20 playing against England in the 6^th match of 7 matches series on Friday 30 Sep 2022 in Lahore. Babar Azam is also the only batsman to score 2 hundred in t20Is on two different occasions. Babar Azam completes his career 3000 runs with maximum and becomes the joint fastest with Virat Kohli. He finished on an 87 of 59 balls, after making his half-century in 41 balls Babar accelerated his inning the late aggression from Babar help Pakistan to 169/6 in 20 overs.
