England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to bowl first. Doing batting first India could manage 168/6 in 20 overs. Chasing 169 runs England scored 170 runs without losing any wickets in just 16 overs and won by 10 wickets with 24 balls remaining. England captain Buttler complete the job by hitting a six on the final ball of 16th over to Mohammad Shami.

India was favorite today because veteran batter Virat Kohli back into form and also middle order batter Surya Kumar Yadav is also in the peak form of his career but both batters could not perform in this match up to the mark. Both English openers were dealing in boundaries, in almost every over they hit four or six. Adil Rashid was the best bowler of the match as he bowls 4 overs of his quota and gave just 20 runs with the economy of 5.00, he also took the biggest wicket of Surya Kumar Yadav in his final over’s second deliveries that put India under pressure.
