Pakistan and India played a friendly baseball match on Thursday in the capital of Pakistan Islamabad in which Pakistan’s baseball team beat India with 12-1 scores. Pakistan baseball team scored 12 and the Indian baseball team scored only 1. Pakistan beat India in a friendly baseball match.
West Asia Baseball Cup 2023
Indian baseball team came to Pakistan to play West Asia Baseball Cup 2023. The Asian Baseball cup is a baseball tournament which is organized by World Baseball Softball Confederation WBSC Asia. The seven teams were the contestant in the West Asia Baseball cup 2023. Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. West Asia Baseball cup 2023 was hosted by Pakistan and also Pakistan become the new champion of the West Asia baseball cup 2023 after beating Palestine by 11-3 in the final of the tournament. After the tournament, India and Pakistan played a friendly baseball match and Pakistan beat India in a friendly baseball match.
Pakistan and Indian friendly baseball match
It must be noted that a friendly match between the arch-rivals Pakistan and India was organized after the final match of the West Asia cup 2023 on Wednesday in which Pakistan emerged as victorious by 11-3 scores against Palestine. After the final match of West Asia Cup 2023 Pakistan beat India in a friendly baseball match on Thursday which was organized on Wednesday. Pakistan Baseball Federation took to Twitter to congratulate for winning the final saying:

Before reaching the final, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka with a big margin of 16-1 scores in the semi-final to make their place in the final. On the other hand, Palestine beat Bangladesh handsomely with 14-3 scores. After winning the semi-finals another good news for both teams is both teams Pakistan and Palestine also have the Asian Baseball Championship, which is a qualifying event for Baseball World Cup.
Friendly match with India
Another News reported that India invited Pakistan in April to play a friendship baseball match. India’s captain Ankit Joshi calls it an effort to revive the sporting relations between Pakistan and India. Indian captain while sharing the news of inviting the Pakistan Baseball team to India he said that they were eagerly waiting for the Pakistan baseball team to travel to India for the friendship series. He was also with Indian baseball Federation secretary Harish Kumar while sharing the news.
On Thursday Pakistan beat India in a friendly baseball match. After the match, Indian Baseball Federation secretary Harish Kumar said that “We have invited Pakistan’s baseball team to travel to India to play at least three matches series in April. Pakistan accepted the proposal and now we are waiting for the Pakistan champion of West Asia cup 2023 to cross the border and play the series.
